Transforming Community

Eternal Benefits activities are run by a group of local residents who seek to model the attitude of respect within the community. By respecting people we seek to gather all ages through a variety of activities in order to transform our community. Our motto is “Respect your neighbour as you would respect yourself.”
Eternal Benefits caters to people of all social and ethnic groups, whether young or old. We run groups and events for children and youth, as well as the over-60’s.
We also run a cafe and a swop shop which is open for all the community to visit

Eternal Benefits is a charity with Christian compassion and ethos seeking to meet the holistic needs of those struggling with hardship in our community. Eternal Benefits attempts to demonstrate to others what living in the light of Jesus’ love looks like. Jesus said to his followers “love your neighbour as you love yourself.”

This is not always easy but thankfully we do have clear guidelines and support from God to achieve this.

Our main hope is the people we serve come to know the holistic eternal benefits that God offers for our minds, bodies, souls and spirits. In other words, through the work we do, we hope to see people finding good physical, mental and spiritual health as a result of experiencing love, peace, joy, kindness, forgiveness and freedom from all that hinders us from being our best.

Those of us who are Christian are ordinary people who have found that knowing Jesus has made a colossal difference in our lives and we are more than happy to share that revelation with others.

The community cafe is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Last order is at 12:30 pm

The Swop Shop is presently open between 9:30 am – 3.30 pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 9.30 – 1.30 pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Any viewing or sales by appointment only outside of theses times.
